About Me

Since 1998, I have been breeding these wonderful little rats in Switzerland. Over the years, I took several breaks, but my passion for responsible breeding has always remained.

In 2018, I moved to Norrbotten in northern Sweden, and in 2025 I resumed my breeding program.

Today, my breeding animals come from carefully selected bloodlines from Switzerland and Norway. My rattery is home to rats of all ages, from newborn litters to retired breeding animals.

I look forward to connecting and collaborating with fellow Swedish rat enthusiasts and breeders, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the future of healthy, well-socialized pet rats.

Our Breeding Philosophy

To me, responsible rat breeding is about much more than beautiful colors or unique markings.

My goal is to breed healthy, well-tempered, and long-lived fancy rats that will become cherished companions for many years. Health and temperament always come first. Every pairing is carefully planned with long-term breeding goals in mind, rather than short-term trends.

I work with carefully selected bloodlines from Switzerland, Norway, and Sweden to maintain genetic diversity while preserving strong and stable traits.

Another important aspect of my breeding program is the preservation and development of carefully selected varieties through long-term genetic projects.

Not every rat is suitable for breeding. Animals with hereditary health concerns or undesirable temperament traits are responsibly removed from the breeding program. My aim is for each new generation to be a small improvement over the previous one.

My responsibility does not end when my rats leave for their new homes. I am always happy to support and advise their families throughout the rats’ lives.

My vision is to breed healthy, confident, and genetically diverse fancy rats that provide a strong foundation not only for today, but for future generations as well.

Current Breeding Focus

Standard Rats

• Colours: All standard colours (Focus: Clean color breeding with no mixing of different color varieties. Therefore, we maintain multiple breeding groups).

• Special varieties: Colourpoint & Silvermane

• Coat types: Standard, Velveteen & Harley, Satin

Dwarf Rats

• Colours: Standard colours & Colourpoint varieties

• Coat types: Standard & Harley

Red Eyed Devil

• Only bred on genetically Black, Russian Blue, or English Blue backgrounds with confirmed Roan-free bloodlines.

Our breeding program is intentionally kept free of Rex, Double Rex, and Hairless lines. Our breeding lines are intentionally kept free of these genetic varieties.
