The Illusions Litter is a carefully planned test breeding designed to determine whether our imported sire, Alexej, carries the Roan gene. Fortunately, the results confirmed that he is Roan-free and homozygous C/C.  ✅

As the dam is a confirmed Roan, this litter provides valuable genetic information. The results help guide future breeding decisions and contribute to the transparent and responsible documentation of our bloodlines.

For our own breeding program, this litter is not intended as a foundation for future breeding, as our goal is to establish and maintain Roan-free bloodlines. We intentionally keep a small Roan line solely for genetic testing of newly imported animals before deciding whether to retain offspring for our breeding program.

However, this litter may be of great interest to breeders who specifically focus on the Roan variety.
All offspring carry one copy of the Roan gene and are also carriers of Russian Blue.
